About Nell Stucker

     Nell Stucker, an Abilene, Texas resident, is a master hair designer with many outstanding qualifications and experience. Her career began after she earned cosmetology and hair design degrees from Glen and Lottie's Beauty College and Pivot Point International. She continued learning by taking courses o communication, floral design, decorating, facial shapes, and business and accounting. During this time, Nell managed a beauty salon and then became director and previous owner of another salon. She also held seminars dealing with all areas of the beauty industry and trained newly graduated cosmetology students.

     Throughout her beauty career, Nell has gained experience with planning and implementing fashion shows, marketing, public relations, advertising, and computer skills. With her aforementioned experience, she has branched out from her hair design business and become a wedding consultant and certified wedding specialist. Her new business, Weddings Unique, offers couples consulting and coordinating services that improve the organization and timelines of each wedding experience.

     Alongside her experience background, Nell Stucker has received various awards and recognition. She has been Immediate Past President, First and Second Vice President, Secretary, and Historian of the Affiliate 12 Texas Cosmetology Association. She has also been an assistant to the guest artist at the All Texas Beauty Show and held every position available at the Elmwood West Lion's Club. Currently, she is Treasurer of the Abilene Wedding Professionals and First Vice President of Elmwood West Lion's Club.

     Nell was recently awarded the Lion of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding service, loyalty, and devotion, to "Lionism" (Elmwood West Lion's Club). She was also recognized for giving outstanding support to Abilene's Ben Richey Boys Ranch. In the community, Nell is an active member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, Elmwood West Lion's Club, Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, Abilene Wedding Professionals, and the Abilene Chamber of Commerce.
